SHAKUHACHI

It is a tall transverse flute originating from India and Pakistan, it consists of six or seven open holes. It is a musical instrument associated with ranchers and pastoral tradition, intimately linked to the love story between Krishna and Radha, and is represented in Buddhist paintings from the year 100 after Christ.
The word bansuri comes from the Sanskrit bans (bamboo) + swar (musical note).
